Premier Permanent, based in Johannesburg, offer courses in specialised nail techniques such as fibre, gel and acrylic as well as courses in permanent make-up. Permanent Makeup is a tattooing process by which natural pigments are inserted into the dermal layer of the skin, reducing or eliminating the need to apply makeup. The procedures are relatively simple, and most can be done in an hour requiring only topical anesthetics. On average a permanent make-up technician can charge up to R2000 per procedure.
This is a career orientation course as well as an educational skills course.

Nora Barnard, Stalwart of the beauty and nail industry and founder of the successful Dream Nails franchise has been involved in the Permanent Makeup industry for the last 10 years. Nora Barnard was the first in South Africa to receive her USA Master Certification as a Permanent Makeup Technician and Instructor.
Nora offers a 7 day condensed course in all Permanent Makeup and Paramedical Procedures . Diploma received on completion of course. The student than has the option to qualify as a USA Master Certified Technician after a years practical experience.
No previous credentials or qualifications are necessary to be able to attend Nora’s course!
Accommodation & Meals can also be provided at the academy for an additional R200 per day!

At the Xpress Nail Academy you too can learn how to do a set of nails in under 1 hour, whether you are doing gel, acrylic or fibre nails. With the specialized techniques and tips taught at our academy doing nails in under an hour is not an unachievable feat!
Shari Ann Coetzer who heads up the nail educating at the academy has been in the nail industry for over 14 years and to add to her credentials she came 3rd overall at the European Nail Champs in Belguim in 2007. Shari was also one of three who achieved her International Masters Instructor Accreditation out of 38 countries represented with over 100 participants.
